SNCF Réseau is announcing the launch of its Terralpha subsidiary, the future major player in the coverage of the French territory with Ultra High Speed Digital Broadband.
In the rail sector, fibre optics have become a reliable, fast and less expensive means of telecommunications than the traditional copper cable transmission. To date, SNCF Réseau has deployed a network of almost 20,000 km of fibre optic cables throughout the country as part of its modernisation programme.
