Terralpha brings regions closer together by linking Paris and Lyon

Terralpha, a subsidiary of SNCF Réseau, is continuing to expand its Ultra High Speed data transport services by linking Paris and Lyon. This new link is based on a freehold passive fibre optic infrastructure along the railway lines, which is diverse in terms of the networks between the two cities.

This route uses the high-speed line between these two cities to offer record latencies: 4.78 ms RTT (round trip) between Paris and Lyon is the new reference time.
